Case study: Sewerage Networks Surveys
We recently surveyed the depth and alignment of a 13m deep combined sewer pipe for Wessex Water. This required confined space entry into a large underground chamber. The pipe was positioned by Total Station within the chamber which tracked a target that we mounted to a CCTV tractor. The unit was driven into the pipe and successfully positioned until it became submerged some 166m from the point of entry.
