21 May 2012
Slough Trading Estate is Europe’s largest trading estate in single ownership, home to many of the world’s most successful companies including Mars, O2, Fiat, LG and Ferrari.
Subscan Technology has been commissioned to undertake a detailed underground utility mapping survey and CCTV drainage condition survey of the Leigh Road and A4 areas of the estate. This large survey contract will comprise of multiple survey teams working both in the highway and around individual units to precisely detect and map the routes and depths of underground utilities prior to a modernisation and redevelopment construction program. This complex survey requires liaison with land owners, tenants and also traffic management to enable a safe system of work.
John Robinson, our Managing Director commented, “We are delighted to have been chosen to undertake this survey contract despite fierce competition. In the end our ability to mobilise multiple survey teams and our reputation with the client on previous contracts enabled us to provide both an economic and technically competent bid. Survey work has already started and we anticipate will be complete by July 2012.”
